Why Branding?

Often time you will hear people say “branding is not what you say it is, it’s what other’s say it is” and though there is some truth in that, that completely disregards the efforts of the brand itself. It is what the brand says that we hope our stakeholders would say too.

So simply put:

Branding is more than just a logo, a tagline, a product.

Brand DNA
It’s your purpose in the world, it’s your vision, how you solve a problem, how you speak to your stakeholders, how you care for your stakeholders, what your core values are, what do you stand for.

Brand Identity
It’s how you look, what you say, what reminds people of you, what colours you associate with, what imagery, how you say things, the channels you use, your sound, your taste, your smell.

Brand Engagement
It’s how you reach out to your stakeholders, how you engage with them, how you translate your culture, your values, your personality, how you touch their lives, how you help them.

A good brand strategy complements the business strategy. While the business takes care of the KPIs, ROIs, P&L’s and all those, the brand takes care of the heart & mind. Settling a culture, speaking to the stakeholders, developing new products, and more.
